The countdown is on for Australia to host the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2022 for the first time. The much-anticipated event, delayed from 2020 due to COVID-19, will begin in just 100 days.

Australia enters the eighth edition of the event as defending champions after winning their first ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title in 2021. Their campaign starts at the SCG against New Zealand on 22 October in a rematch of the 2021 T20 World Cup decider.

The best way to get behind your team is to join your SQUAD, a free online resource. Here you can access exclusive content and the opportunity to join in the conversation about your team.

It won’t be long before you can see 16 of the world’s best T20 cricket teams compete in one of the world’s largest, fast paced sporting events right on your doorstep. Games are held across 7 Australian cities from Sunday 16 October to Sunday 13 November 2022.
