Blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, account for approximately 10% of cancer deaths in Australia. In 2020, we estimate that more than 5,600 people will die from blood cancer.

The National Strategic Action Plan for Blood Cancer will help improve outcomes for people diagnosed with blood cancer.

The Leukaemia Foundation developed the action plan, using evidence and input from a wide range of stakeholders, and will help implement the plan.

See the media release for more details about the action plan. Read the action plan on the Leukaemia Foundation website.
