The First Nations Hub is a dedicated space for older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their families and carers, aged care providers and workers for resources.

This includes:

  • conversation guides to support the aged care journey
  • videos explaining aged care rights, person centred and culturally safe care
  • editable posters for aged care workplaces
  • visual storyboards explaining aged care rights.

The information and resources have been created with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities who receive, deliver and provide aged care.

You can hear from Elders on what good aged care means to them. You can also read about how the Commission is making sure you or your family are getting the right care.

Visit the First Nations Hub on the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission’s website.
