This first release is a toolkit to equip providers with key resources to help prepare workers for the changes.
These resources will make it easier to put the new Act into practice and to support consistent, high-quality care for older people.
Release 1 includes:
- a workforce training plan template – with a step-by-step guide to help identify learning needs for different roles
- an education and training catalogue – a list of resources and training developed by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and the Aged Care Quality Safety Commission
- a guide to navigating change – to help workers understand what’s changing, how to apply it in their daily work and keep improving care.
You can access Release 1 now on our website.
Further releases of Module 3 will soon follow.
