Have your say on the future of Supported Independent Living
We want your feedback on Supported Independent Living under the NDIS. Supported Independent Living provides assistance with daily living for people with disability who need a high level of support to live independently.
We want to hear from people with disability, families, carers, advocates, providers and support workers about what good, supported living services look like.
This consultation will help us understand what good Supported Independent Living Services look like. It will also help us explore whether a ‘commissioning’ approach could improve the quality, safety, innovation and sustainability of these services for some participants. Commissioning means the government may take a more active role in how some services are planned, funded, delivered and monitored.
No decisions have been made about future arrangements for Supported Independent Living. Your feedback will help the government to consider options and to decide the next steps.
