The National Disability Data Asset Council has released its first Annual Report to Disability Ministers. The report covers 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
The National Disability Data Asset is a key part of Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021–2031. Better disability data helps us understand how government policies, services, payments and programs work for people with disability.
The report outlines progress in 2024–25, including:
- an inclusive research guide for using government administrative data (information collected through programs and services)
- a new website and logo
- the first set of disability flags (data markers that help identify disability in datasets)
- improved reporting against the Australia’s Disability Strategy Outcomes Framework (how we track progress on outcomes)
