Every year on 3 December, people around the world take part in International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). It’s a day to promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.
In Australia, IDPwD is a joint effort between government, schools, organisations, community groups, businesses and individuals.
The Australian Government, through the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, funds a national program to help promote and raise awareness of this day.
We’re seeking your feedback on the IDPwD 2025 program through a short online survey. Your input will help shape IDPwD in 2026.
The survey includes questions about:
- how you recognised IDPwD 2025
- how useful you found our resources
- how we can better support your IDPwD activities in 2026.
The survey is open until 11:59pm AEDT on Monday 9 February. It’s anonymous and takes about 10–15 minutes to do.
If you’re unable to complete the survey online or have any questions, you can:
- email idpwd@health.gov.au
- call 1800 440 385, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday AEDT.
