PAMT applications – new process
Veterans who have applied to the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) to obtain a white card issued with hearing as a specified condition may be eligible to receive treatment under the DVA Provisional Access to Medical Treatment (PAMT) program while waiting the outcome of their application. This may include being able to receive hearing services under the program.
PAMT approval for veterans to receive a program voucher is given by DVA. To facilitate faster processing of applications, from 3 August 2026 all program applications for PAMT veterans should be sent directly to DVA by email to health.approval@dva.gov.au.
Any queries about pending or rejected PAMT applications should be directed to DVA.
Application forms sent to the program will be returned.
