MRFF Research Missions bring together researchers, health professionals, stakeholders, industry partners and patients to tackle big health challenges. They have ambitious objectives and allow researchers to be bold in changing the face of medicine.
We are evaluating the Research Missions program to learn about:
- how Research Missions sit in the national and international research funding landscape
- the contribution and progress of individual Missions, and the program as a whole
- opportunities to improve the program’s impact.
A Mission Evaluation Panel chaired by Professor Anna Ranta will guide this work. The findings will inform the government on the program’s future direction and funding investments.
We invite you to contribute to the evaluation by completing the survey on our consultation hub. Your feedback will provide valuable insights on the program’s impact and effectiveness.
The survey is open until 27 February 2026.
Lead Chief Investigators who completed the grantee survey between 10 November 2025 and 19 December 2025 do not need to complete the public survey.
