The MRFF’s Australian Brain Cancer Mission is providing $136.66 million to support research into brain cancer. It aims to double the survival rates and improve the quality of life of patients with brain cancer. Its longer-term goal is to defeat brain cancer.

The EAPs will advise the Australian Government on the strategic priorities for investment under the mission. The first EAP will refresh the mission’s existing Roadmap and develop an Implementation Plan. The second EAP will guide the achievement of Roadmap objectives.

To meet their objectives, EAP members will have diverse skills and backgrounds. We would like to hear from:

  • cancer researchers, and brain cancer researchers, including those with expertise in the needs of vulnerable populations
  • brain cancer clinicians, including those with experience working with vulnerable populations
  • clinicians/researchers with expertise in cancer genomics
  • rural and remote brain cancer researchers and clinicians
  • consumer representatives with lived experience of brain cancer
  • people involved in the translation of brain cancer research into practice or policy
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in any of the above categories
  • Mission Funding Partners.

Applications close on 10 February 2024.
