Cycling Community ride to gear up Wollongong Road World Championships

Have you ever dreamt of being a part of the Tour de France? Well, here’s a chance to check out one of the world’s top 3 road races and even get involved.

The Wollongong 2022 Community Ride on Saturday 17 September offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to ride a section of the 2022 UCI Road World Championship circuit.

Visitors of all ages and abilities will have access to the 2022 UCI Road World Championship course. You can even cross the finish line under the finish arch before the professionals.

This free community event also has a range of come and try sports, family-friendly activities and an event Fan Zone to check out.

The event will kick-start the UCI World Road World Championships in Wollongong, the only UCI bike city in the Southern Hemisphere. Its 8 days of world-class racing and festivities get underway on Sunday 18 September.

The Australian Government are proud supporters of Wollongong 2022.
