GREG HUNT:

Delighted to be here at the ONJ Wellness Walk with brilliant researchers, Ashley and Ryan, doing work into breakthroughs on cancer survival rates. I’m really privileged that we’re able to support your work. Tell us a little bit about what you’re doing.

ASHLEY:

So, I’m working on pancreatic cancer, which has a really low survival rate, and we’re trying to develop better drugs for pancreatic cancer patients.

GREG HUNT:

Ryan.

RYAN:

I’m currently studying gastric cancer, and looking for how it’s developed and how it actually processes to the late stage disease.

GREG HUNT:

Three million dollars today to support the work through clinical trials for the effects of medicinal cannabis in ameliorating and reducing pain for cancer patients and patients with extreme chronic pain. Great cause; great day.
