Young people across the Riverina now have greater access to free mental health care with the opening of the new and expanded headspace Wagga Wagga.

headspace Wagga Wagga offers help with mental health, physical and sexual health care, alcohol and drug use, and support for work and study.

Since opening at their original location in 2008, headspace Wagga Wagga has delivered more than 10,000 occasions of service to young people across the region.

The new and expanded centre is located at 141 Peter Street, Wagga Wagga and open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

The Albanese Labor Government is investing more than $290 million in headspace this year to improve services and expand the headspace network.

The government has committed to upgrade 30 headspace centres to headspace Plus, including headspace Wagga Wagga.

headspace Wagga Wagga is funded by the Albanese Labor Government, commissioned by the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network and operated by Relationships Australia.

For young people who prefer online support, eheadspace is available at: www.headspace.org.au or by phoning 1800 650 890.
