    The Disability Reform Ministerial Council is a forum for Commonwealth and state and territory ministers responsible for disability policy to drive national reform.
  • Distribution Working Group

    The Distribution Working Group (DWG) provides us with independent expert advice on policies and programs that aim to improve access to medical services.
  • Electrocardiogram Review Committee

    We set up the Electrocardiogram (ECG) Review Committee to review Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) plain ECG items that were introduced on 1 August 2020.
  • Expert Advisory Group on Genomics Australia

    The Expert Advisory Group (EAG) on Genomics Australia has provided advice to the Australian Government through the department on the establishment of a new national genomics body, Genomics Australia.
  • Expert Clinical Advisory Groups (ECAG)

    The ECAG assess the clinical functionality and clinical effectiveness of medical devices and human tissue products being considered for listing, or already listed on the Prescribed List.
  • First Nations Health Governance Group (FNHGG)

    The First Nations Governance Group (FNHGG) is a formal partnership between the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and First Nations health experts and leaders to guide work under the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Plan 2021–2031.
  • General Practice Training Advisory Committee

    The General Practice Training Advisory Committee (GPTAC) provides advice to the Australian Government on how to maintain and improve outcomes of GP training. This ensures the registrar workforce is well distributed to deliver primary health care to all Australians.

    The Haemopoietic Progenitor Cell (HPC) Sector Clinical Advisory Group provides advice to support the implementation of the National Haemopoietic Progenitor Cell Framework. The framework will ensure future arrangements continue to improve access to HPC transplants for Australians.
  • Health Chief Executives Forum (HCEF)

    The HCEF is an intergovernmental forum for joint decision-making and strategic policy discussions that helps to efficiently deliver health services in Australia. It is made up of the health department chief executive officer from each state and territory and the Australian Government.
  • Health Ministers’ Meeting (HMM)

    The Health Ministers Meeting (HMM) works to progress health issues of national importance which require cross-border collaboration. It is made up of the health ministers of each state and territory government, along with the Australian Government Minister for Health and Aged Care.
  • Health Roadmap Working Group

    The Health Roadmap Working Group is developing a roadmap to address the health and mental health inequities experienced by autistic people. The working group consists of a diverse range of stakeholders, including autistic people and representatives from the autism community.
  • Health Technology Assessment Consumer Consultative Committee

    The Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Consumer Consultative Committee provides strategic advice and support to us and to the principal HTA committees. Acting as an advisory group, it brings consumer views into HTA processes and relevant matters.
