Strengthening Medicare Implementation Oversight Committee

This committee guides the implementation of Strengthening Medicare reform measures. It consists of peak bodies, industry leaders, consumer representatives, experts from across the sector and jurisdictional representatives.

Role

The Strengthening Medicare Implementation Oversight Committee (IOC) is part of governance arrangements to oversee the implementation of Strengthening Medicare reforms. It is an overarching advisory body comprising senior leaders and representatives from across the healthcare sector. It considers and provides us with strategic advice on the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Strengthening Medicare measures

A range of existing and newly established committees and reviews will report to and/or inform the work of the IOC.
