NACAP provides free and confidential advocacy support to older people, their family and carers. It also helps aged care service providers to understand their responsibilities and the aged care rights of the people they care for.

The QI Program collects information from Australian Government–funded residential aged care homes on 14 quality indicators across critical areas of care that can affect the health and wellbeing of aged care home residents. This helps to monitor and improve the quality of services.

The NACE and National Allergy Council work together to help fight allergy in Australia. Allergic diseases are one of the country’s major public health challenges. The collaboration is supported by funding from the Australian Government.

We are working with state and territory governments to develop a National Allied Health Workforce Strategy. The strategy will address issues such as the shortage of allied health professionals in Australia.
