We are incentivising doctors to specialise in general practice or rural generalism to help build our future GP and Rural Generalist (RG) workforce.

Our graduate program starts in February each year and is based in Canberra. It is a full-time, 10-month development program open to recent university graduates.

Griefline is a free national helpline offering confidential telephone counselling 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They provide early intervention and prevention of mental health difficulties, which may compound a person’s experience of grief, loss and trauma.

This project aims to improve access and the quality of palliative care service delivery for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people throughout Australia, by providing a suite of tailored education and training materials to support cultural safety within palliative care services.

Haemopoietic progenitor cells (HPC) therapy can save the lives of patients with conditions of the blood, blood-producing organs or immune system. The program funds several initiatives to help eligible Australians to access HPC treatments.

Head to Health Clinics have been established to support Victorians during the COVID-19 pandemic. All Victorians can access the free Head to Health services by attending in-person at a clinic near them or by calling 1800 595 212 to talk a mental health professional about their needs.

headspace provides mental health support services to young people aged 12 to 25 years, who are experiencing, or at risk, of mental ill-health.

The Health Peak and Advisory Bodies Program supports peak and advisory bodies to contribute to the national health agenda.

We are enhancing the Health Products Portal (HPP) to provide a single digital channel for industry to interact with us about regulated and reimbursed health-related products and services.
