National Carer Strategy – Supporting carers poster

This poster explains who unpaid carers are, highlights the challenges they face, and outlines how governments will recognise carers and improve access to timely support, services, work, education, and wellbeing.

Defining Therapy Supports consultation with Allied Health Peak Bodies

We are seeking advice from allied health peak bodies on describing therapy supports for upcoming NDIS planning changes. Broader consultation on amended NDIS Supports Rules will occur in March 2026, with website updates to inform the sector and community.

NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee member biographies

The EAC and subcommittee members have expertise in a wide range of areas including allied health practice, nursing, clinical research, education, medicine, law, social work and business. It includes people with disability and other lived experience of disability, including carers.

Thriving Kids – Questions and answers

Thriving Kids will help children aged 8 and under with developmental needs get support earlier, using local services, starting from 1 October 2026. Children with higher support needs will still get help through the NDIS.
