Aunty Nerida:

I was a nurse and we would get a lot of older people that used to have shingles and they were in agony.

So you don't want it.

There would be burning pains first. They’d be saying, ‘Oh my arms on fire.’

‘I feel like I've got something biting me all along my back, like ants or something.’

And then the rash would appear, and you would know straight away what it was.

So I was really pleased to get the shingles vax.

The good news is there's a safe and effective shingles vaccine for all us mob 50 years or older. It's free.

Shield yourself from shingles.
