Amrita's story

“Every person's symptoms are different and every person's healing is different. Do your own research, talk to your GP, listen to your body and do what you can.”

When you get your hot flashes, you just don't know what happens, everything goes haywire.

You just want to go into the bathroom and start the shower.

I am Amrita.

I do love sports, cricket, hockey, basketball.

I was so energetic.

I would do anything and everything, and I was the yes girl.

But I started realising that I can't do that.

My energy level was plummeting.

My flow started to increase.

I start feeling ashamed of my body.

Whenever I'm feeling down or whenever I have all these symptoms, I will listen to music, and that really calms me down.

There's no right answer for this.

Every person's symptoms are different, and every person's healing is different.

It is something that you are going to go through.

There are resources out there.

Do your own research, talk to your GP.

Listen to your body and do what you can.
