Flu vaccines have been around for decades and help to protect you and your bub from serious illness.

They’re safe even if you’re pregnant and you can get them any time during your pregnancy. For babies, influenza can cause pneumonia and can even lead to death.

But if you’re vaccinated, your baby is much less likely to catch it and end up in hospital. The vaccine protects you and your bub in their first 6 months of life.

Yarn to your midwife or health worker about getting your free maternal vaccinations for influenza, whooping cough and RSV. And remember it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to protect bub in pregnancy.
