I'm here because I slipped and smacked my chin on the tiles in my bathroom. I've got cold and flu symptoms happening. I just couldn't stop coughing. I thought I had broken my finger, so I needed to get it checked out. I cut the tip of my finger open. I didn't think it was drastic enough that I needed the emergency department, but I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't too bad that it got infected. I initially went to a local emergency clinic and they recommended I come here, because they said it would be quicker. My daughter hurt herself at school. I was concerned about concussion, and the teachers at the school made us aware that it was here. We were going to go straight to the hospital. I didn't really know what to expect, but it's been super streamlined. The staff have been super friendly, and I feel really well cared for. I'll definitely recommend the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic. We saw the triage nurse straight away, and then right after, the doctor get everything sorted. I had a little bit of a almost fainting episode, and they were beautiful. They helped me straight away. I could kiss these men. They've, yeah, made me feel a lot better. You might have to have a bit of a wait, but the staff are lovely. I think it's really important to have Medicare Urgent Care Clinics across Australia, just for situations like this where you can't get in to your GP, and it's not a life-threatening emergency, and you don't want to clog up the system.
