COVID-19 vaccination – Video – Your COVID-19 vaccination appointment

This animation, in English, provides information about where to get a COVID-19 vaccine and what to expect at the vaccination appointment.

Did you know that you can get your COVID-19 vaccination in different ways?

You can go to a government vaccination clinic, where you do not need a Medicare card.

Or you can go to a doctor or pharmacy, where you might need to bring a Medicare card with you.

When you go to your COVID-19 vaccination appointment, you can bring a trusted friend or family member with you.

The staff will ask you some questions about your health before they start.

They will also ask for your consent before you have the vaccine

After your vaccination, they will ask you to wait between 15 to 30 minutes before you leave, to make sure you are okay.

Remember, the COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to protect you, your family and community from the virus.
