COVID-19 vaccination – Video – COVID-19 vaccines are available for everyone in Australia
In this video, Doctor Sakshi provides information about who is able to get the COVID-19 vaccines and where you can go to receive your vaccinations.
Hi, my name is Dr Sakshi and I’m a doctor.
Did you know that COVID-19 vaccines are free for everyone in Australia? The vaccine is voluntary but, everyone is encouraged to get vaccinated to help protect the community from COVID-19.
When it’s your turn, you can get your free vaccination through medical centres across Australia. You do not need a Medicare card to get your vaccination at GP led Respiratory Clinics and local state or territory vaccination clinics.
If you want to get your vaccination through your local GP you will need a Medicare card.
Any information you provide on the day of your vaccination will be kept private and will only be used for medical purposes.
