Description:
Publishment of the exposure draft and explanatory statement will help the aged care sector understand and prepare for new provider governance reforms and information. The proposed changes support the quality and transparency of aged care services and to help care recipients make more informed choices about aged care. Work is underway to avoid duplicative reporting for providers and to help providers effectively report any extra information required as part of this reform. We will seek feedback on amendments to the exposure draft to better support the goals of transparency and quality.
