This Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS):

  • provides information on how the Department of Health and Aged Care implements cost recovery for the administration of the Prescribed List of Benefits for Medical Devices and Human Tissue Products (the Prescribed List) previously known as the Prostheses List;
  • outlines the fees that will apply for the 2023-24 financial year;
  • describes the legislative changes to support the administration of cost recovery arrangements relating to the Prescribed List; and
  • provides financial forecasts for the 2023-24 financial year and three forward years.

Version 1.1 provides details of new cost recovery arrangements and relevant fees for the Prescribed List that will be applicable for 2023-24. The document also includes stakeholder feedback to the draft CRIS that was open for consultation between 10 May 2023 and 24 May 2023.
