It’s important to practice good hygiene when using public transport including trains, buses, trams or taxis and ride shares.
Wash your hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser after using public transport or taxis.
Consider travelling outside peak travel times. This will help you stay 1.5 metres away from others.
You may choose, or be required to, wear a mask on public transport. Follow the requirements in your state or territory.
If you are sick, stay home and don’t use public transport.
