Flexible aged care places (Multi-Purpose Services) allocations round 2021–22

Status

The 2021-22 allocations round was finalised on 30 August 2022 with changes taking effect from 1 November 2022.

Results

The 2021–22 round allocated 99 new places to create 5 new MPS:

  • 46 new residential aged care places in New South Wales
  • 46 new residential aged care places in South Australia
  • 7 new residential aged care places in Queensland.

We estimate that this will increase annual funding by $6.9 million.
