Australian General Practice Training Program Guidelines

The Australian General Practice Training program guidelines (AGPT Guidelines) support the implementation and delivery of the AGPT program under a college-led training model, which commenced 1 February 2023.

Transition of the Australian General Practice Training Program

This document is for training practices, supervisors and registrars to receive support payments through the new payment system. The new support payments will commence from semester 1 2023 and will be paid through a Services Australia payment system.

National Consistent Payments Guidelines

The guidelines will assist all AGPT participants, including supervisors, practices and registrars, to understand the eligibility criteria, the process of determining and delivering the basic support payments, and the process of accessing the flexible payment pool.

National Consistent Payments Framework

From Semester one 2023, the National Consistent Payments (NCP) framework will provide support payments to supervisors, practices and registrars on the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program.

AGPT Program COVID-19 Support Policy 2020

This time-limited policy outlines what we're doing to support registrars enrolled in the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program during the COVID-19 pandemic.

AGPT Program Policies 2020

This policy sets out how medical registrars in the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program can transfer between Regional Training Organisations (RTOs), or training regions, or pathways.

AGPT Program Complaints Policy 2020

This policy sets out how we manage complaints from medical registrars about their training experience on the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program.
