The department has commissioned Whereto Research to undertake social research into how we communicate with My Aged Care users about accessing services.

The research will involve consultations with professionals involved in registering, referring and assessing clients with My Aged Care, including health professionals. Consultations will be held in February and early March 2020.

We invite health professionals, particularly those referring clients to aged care services, to express their interest to participate in a 30–45 minute online forum.

Any feedback you provide will remain confidential.

Separate consultations and interviews will be conducted with consumers, clients, carers, service providers and assessors as part of this research.

To take part in the research, please email your name, phone number, location and position to our Market Research Unit. We ask that you email your interest by 5pm (AEDST) 4 February 2020.

Only a limited number of health professionals can participate in the research. Selection will be based on availability and geographical location of participants, for a representative sample.
