Examples of Innovation in Aged Care Services

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has developed a range of resources for aged care providers to support residents in their care during visitor restrictions. This includes advice and helpful strategies to ensure the ongoing safety of residents and examples of innovative ways to support residents’ health and well-being.

Examples of innovation that have been submitted by aged care providers include animation to explain the reasons for visitor restrictions and reaching out to local communities and schools to encourage them to write to residents.

Reminder - staying up to date with your state and territory directions
