National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator (QI) Program – public reporting of data

Quarter one of the mandatory QI Program is now complete and provider's individualised service-level reports are now available via the QI tile in the My Aged Care provider portal.

The first quarter of consolidated, de-identified QI data will be collated and published on the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare’s GEN Aged Care Data website on 16 December 2019.

The published QI data will include national, state and territory level:

  • participation statistics across all providers; and
  • summary statistics for each QI.

The QI program aims to assist providers to have robust, valid data to measure and monitor their performance and support continuous quality improvement.

CHSP 'grandfathered client' data upload period ends 11:59pm Friday 8 November 2019

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) providers are advised that the time to upload and submit grandfathered client data into the My Aged Care provider portal closes at 11:59pm tonight.

No further extensions to the upload deadline are possible.

The department thanks CHSP providers for collecting and submitting the requested information.
