The Australian Government continues to invest in residential treatment facilities for those needing help with alcohol and drug rehabilitation.

These services help people with substance problems to get their lives back on track and support local communities and families.

New facilities are being constructed in:

  • Burnie and Smithton in north-west Tasmania
  • the Goulburn Valley in regional Victoria
  • Dubbo in regional New South Wales
