The Australian Government is pleased to support the Australian Advisory Board on Technology and Healthcare Competitiveness.
The Board’s activities strengthen links between leading Australian and American medical researchers and industry.
The Board recently hosted the first Australia–US Chief Technology Officer Dialogue to:
- discuss common challenges and opportunities
- collaborate in areas including healthcare, advanced computing, finance and entrepreneurship
- learn from leading innovators in the United States and Australia.
Participants agreed to develop action groups and to meet again in Washington, DC in November 2019.
The Australian Government supports the Board’s efforts to strengthen Australian–US research and industry ties. These connections can help develop new Australian medicines, technologies and devices.
