NATSIFAC Program Residential Care - Expansion Rounds now open

The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care (NATSIFAC) Program 2018-2019 Residential Care Expansion Round is a targeted, competitive application process. Eligible applicants can apply for high care residential aged care places, to be delivered in remote and very remote Australia (geographical locations defined as Modified Monash Model (MMM) 6 and 7).

Invitation to apply for NATSIFAC Program Places

Eligible applicants are invited to apply for NATSIFAC Program Residential Care places to:

  • expand existing or establish new NATSIFAC Program Residential Care services in MMM 6-7; or
  • change their current allocation from low to high care places, to deliver residential care which reflects current and future care recipients' needs; or
  • convert from residential care services administered under the Aged Care Act 1997 in MMM 6-7, to the NATSIFAC Program.

The Expansion Round opened on 23 January 2019. All applications must be received by the department by 2.00pm Wednesday 20 March 2019.

Please note that funding is only for residential aged care services, not home care services. Funding will not be provided for capital work or equipment under this round.
