Improved Payment Arrangements webinar available
On 7 May 2021 the department held a webinar about Improved Payment Arrangements for Home Care for providers and aged care peak organisations.

The department recently updated the Provider Fact Sheet with additional information on payment in arrears. An Attachment A for this fact sheet has been released with worked examples for providers. The first example shows if a provider has chosen to opt-in to progressively transfer unspent funds to the Commonwealth and the second example shows if a provider has chosen not to opt-in.
Services Australia has released details on its website for providers and software developers, including a claiming change summary.

The department is finalising a non-mandatory better practice Monthly Statement Template to support care recipients. Providers will be notified as soon as it becomes available on the Improved Payment Arrangements website.
