Following the announcement by the Hon Richard Colbeck, Minister for Aged Care and Senior Australians, Primary Health Networks (PHN) have been contacting all residential aged care facilities within their regions to undertake a needs assessment to identify facilities requiring assistance to access to flu vaccine supply or vaccine administrators.
Those services that are yet to respond to this needs assessment are strongly encouraged to provide this information to your local PHN as a priority.
This activity aims to prioritise residential aged care facilities access to flu vaccine supply for their staff and vulnerable residents.
