COVID-19 Update for Residential Aged Care: PPE escalation for certain LGAs - 24 December 2021

Residential aged care providers should follow guidance in the Personal Protective Equipment in Residential Aged Care and Disability Accommodation Services guidelines.

On 17 December 2021, all Queensland LGAs were escalated to Moderate for the purposes of the PPE guidelines.

In addition, as of 9:00 am on 24 December 2021, Metro South Hospital and Health Services and the below LGAs and towns have now been determined by the Chief Health Officer to be in the ‘high’ risk category.
