Check in app is no longer required

In Queensland the Check In Qld app is no longer required, meaning aged care homes can:

  • remove all Check In Qld app posters and QR codes from your premises, as well as references on websites and social media
  • destroy any customer check-in information you’ve collected
  • staff can delete the app from their devices.

COVID-19 vaccination certificates can still be accessed via the myGov platform or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.

Visit the Services Australia website for more information about how you can support your staff and customers to access and download their proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.

If you have any questions or require more information, please call 13 42 68.
