To ensure the pilot includes a representative sample, we are inviting the following residential aged care services to take part:
- services operating in Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory and Tasmania
- smaller services (e.g. less than 25 residential aged care places)
- services who have participated in a previous QI Program Pilot; and
- private service providers.
The pilot commences on 21 March 2022 and will test quality indicators for activities of daily living, continence, hospitalisations, workforce, consumer experience and quality of life.
Participation in the pilot is an opportunity for your service to provide feedback on these indicators ahead of the implementation as part of the QI Program in October 2022.
