The department is trialling a new assessment framework for residential aged care funding. The Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) tool will soon be used to assess around 10,000 aged care residents as part of the trial.

Tasmanian services invited to participate

The department invites additional residential aged care providers in Tasmania to submit expressions of interest to take part in the trial. We are aiming to include up to 700 more Tasmanian residents in the trial. To ensure Tasmania is fully represented:

  • submit your EOI to ResiFundingTrial [at] health.gov.au by 29 November 2019.
  • include the name of your organisation, facility information, and the details of a key contact (name, position, phone number and email).

If you have previously expressed interest in participating there is no need to resubmit.

Trial participants will receive a summary of the AN-ACC classification profile for their facility.
