The Albanese Labor Government has today called for innovative grant applications to help raise awareness about organ and tissue donation.
We need help from the community to spread the message about organ and tissue donation and to prompt people to register and talk to their families so that someone in need gets a second chance at life.
Up to $600,000 in grants is available for new DonateLife community partners in 2025.
Applications are now open for community-based projects across three categories:
- Host a DonateLife Week 2025 event or activity – to run a local community event or activity supporting DonateLife Week 2025.
- Create digital content – to create digital content that builds awareness about organ and tissue donation.
- National marketing or public relations strategies and activities – to develop and implement national marketing or public relations strategies and activities, encouraging registrations for organ and tissue donation.
