Initiatives and programs
We're working on a range of policy initiatives, programs and campaigns to help improve your health and the health of all Australians.
The Australian Brain Cancer Mission is a $133 million fund that supports research into brain cancer treatments. It aims to double the survival rate of Australians living with brain cancer over the next 10 years.
The Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) program helps people and families who have problems with breaking down protein in their food. They need a special diet, and the IEM program helps them pay for their specialised food.
This project helps local health professionals provide palliative care to children and their families and carers by improving access to training and raising community awareness of palliative care for paediatric patients.
