  • The Australian Brain Cancer Mission is investing $136.66 million to support research into brain cancer. It aims to double the survival rates and improve the quality of life of patients with brain cancer.

  • The Get Up & Grow program developed resources that help parents and educators to make sure children eat healthy foods and are physically active, so they grow up healthy and strong. The resources are available in multiple languages.

  • Girls Make Your Move is about inspiring, energising and empowering young women to be more active regardless of ethnicity, size or ability.

  • The Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) program helps people and families who have problems with breaking down protein in their food. They need a special diet, and the IEM program helps them pay for their specialised food.

  • Influenza in kids can be serious. The influenza vaccine is safe, effective and free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years.

  • This project helps local health professionals provide palliative care to children and their families and carers by improving access to training and raising community awareness of palliative care for paediatric patients.

  • The Rural Health Outreach Fund (RHOF) supports outreach initiatives that improve access to medical specialists, general practitioners (GPs) and allied and other health providers in regional, rural and remote areas of Australia.
