Immunisation coverage rates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children

The national coverage rate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander five year olds was 97.12% at June 2021, above the target of 95%. The coverage for one year olds is 93.36%, while the coverage rate for two year olds is 91.96%.

National coverage rates

We have again exceeded the target of 95% coverage for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander five year olds.

As at June 2021, the coverage rates were:

  • 93.36% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander one year olds
  • 91.96% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander two year olds
  • 97.12% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander five year olds.
