Infection Control Expert Group (ICEG)
The Infection Control Expert Group (ICEG) advises the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and its other standing committees on infection prevention and control issues.
Role
The Infection Control Expert Group provides expert advice and information to support best practice related to infection prevention and control in community, hospital and other institutional settings.

Meetings
During a national incident, ICEG meets weekly, with additional out of session meetings held if needed. Routine meetings will be held every second month.
