National Health Reform agreements
The National Health Reform Agreement was agreed to by First Ministers on 2 August 2011.
The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) has also agreed to a revised National Partnership Agreement on Improving Public Hospital Services (following the National Partnership Agreement on Improving Public Hospital Services Expert Panel Report) as well as amendments to the National Healthcare Agreement and the Intergovernmental Agreement of Federal Financial Relations.
The National Health Reform Agreement gives effect to the commitment made by the Council of Australians Governments on 2 August 2011, and in doing so, supersedes the Heads of Agreement on National Health Reform (13 February 2011).
