The Government is in Caretaker Mode

An election for the House of Representatives was held on 24th November 2007 at which a new government was elected.

The new Government should be sworn in by the Governor-General in the near future.

Until then, the government will remain in caretaker mode.

The Northern Territory Emergency Response (NTER) is a whole-of-government coordinated operation to protect Indigenous children in the NT.
