The Government is in Caretaker Mode

An election for the House of Representatives was held on 24th November 2007 at which a new government was elected.
The new Government should be sworn in by the Governor-General in the near future.
Until then, the government will remain in caretaker mode.

The winners of the inaugural 2007 National Excellence Awards in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health were announced on 22 November by the Department of Health and Ageing.

The Northern Territory Emergency Response (NTER) is a whole-of-government coordinated operation to protect Indigenous children in the NT. Medical personnel who would like to offer their services can register their interest by calling the DoHA Northern Territory Emergency Coordination Centre (NTECC) on (02) 6289 5800 or the Task Force Recruitment Hotline on (02) 6243 4855 (business hours).
