Petrol sniffing destroys lives

The Australian Government is working closely with regional and remote communities to prevent petrol sniffing and volatile substance abuse.

The introduction of a low aromatic fuel provides the opportunity to improve and build healthier Australian communities.

The staged rollout to selected regions will be supported by other programs around youth, policing and rehabilitation to effectively address social health issues.

Latest news

Low aromatic fuel is now available in Kakadu National Park and the Western Australian Goldfields region.
