Indigenous HealthInfonet

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfonet provides quality information and resources about how to prevent and/or minimise the harm associated with the misuse of inhalants among Indigenous peoples.

National Inhalants Information Service

The National Inhalants Information Service is the first central online service in Australia that provides information about inhalant abuse. The service is designed to provide information, research and support for the Australian community, parents & teachers, alcohol and other drug (AOD) workers and other professionals assisting users of inhalants.

Inhalant abuse: Victoria

The Victorian Department of Health website provides an information kit about inhalant abuse:
  • 'About inhalant abuse - for health and community workers' is a booklet which was developed for community drug and alcohol workers, and health professionals, who are working with young people who are engaged in chroming or other inhalant abuse.

  • 'About inhalant abuse - information for parents and community members' is a booklet for parents and community members who may be worried that someone they know is sniffing inhalants. Back to top
