Central Australian Youth Link Up Service (CAYLUS)

CAYLUS is a government funded service at Tangentyere Council designed to improve the quality of life and address substance misuse affecting young people in remote Indigenous communities.

Mt Theo

Mt Theo Outstation in Yuendumu (which is 300km north-west of Alice Springs) provides a safe place for petrol sniffers, out of reach of petrol, to undergo cultural counselling and training by traditional owners and elders. The program also addresses four main arms of service: Mt Theo Outstation cultural treatment and rehabilitation; Jaru Pirrjirdi youth development and leadership program; Yuendumu Youth diversionary program; and education and outreach.

BushMob

BushMob in Central Australia provides a range of programs for young people who are at risk of being disengaged and subjected to substance abuse, violence, unsafe living environments and disempowerment. The program's unique approach to working with young people and their families is through the power of respect, supporting self advocacy and the freedom to choose their future.
